CurrentHarris Corporation, Melbourne, FL, System Integration and Test Engineer Level 2 – Performing SI&T for the Alaskan Satellite Telecommunications Infrastructure (ASTI) program on short term field assignment in Alaska, analyzing customer requirements and writing acceptance test procedures (first article, regression testing, and field) for satellite RF equipment such as C-Band, L-Band, and 70 MHz amplifiers, block up and block down converters, and low-noise amplifiers, as well as network monitoring subsystems, including failover in a fully redundant network configuration. Leading the test team with developing test procedures, dry running procedures on the deployed system in Alaska, and performing formal testing with the customer. Also coordinating directly with the customer throughout the testing process to address concerns, approve testing documentation, and ensure system requirements are properly satisfied. Also performed SI&T for the Data Communications Integration Services (DCIS) program, with a focus on analyzing customer requirements and developing acceptance test procedures. Secondary tasks include managing the build of a test bed lab environment, helping with subsystem integration, and coordinating logistics with the customer and vendors to meet product requirements.
