Prior to my current role as Communications Director for Buckeye Hills Regional Council in Marietta, Ohio, I served in a variety of capacities with rural, community-based nonprofit, media, and arts organizations. As a reporter for a rural newspaper for ten years, I covered community and economic development topics at the local level, from industrial site remediation and public infrastructure projects to tourism and federal land management. I have also served a variety of small business, tourism, and nonprofit clients as a freelance photographer, writer, web developer, and marketing consultant. A 2002 graduate of Capital University, I earned my BA in International Studies with minors in Music and Spanish.
