Honors include being recognized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce as a Chamber of Valor.- Created a statewide veteran workforce development pipeline that focuses on leveraging and streamlining existing federal programs, marshaling state agency’s resources, linking educational and career placement within defense and industry partners.- Created a statewide suicide prevention by strategically aligning existing efforts and facilitating the co-location of new partnerships of veterans’ services.

- Deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom serving as a combat advisor to a foreign military in the realms of personnel, intelligence, civil affairs, operations, and small unit tactics.- Deployed to Operation Iraqi Freedom and acted as a leader of a four man team executing security and stability operations in the Bagdad area. - Responsible for the safeguard of millions of dollars of government equipment ranging from a hand-held to an armored personnel carrier.
