My passion for technology ignited while creating a LEGO robot for a Sumobot competition. I spent countless hours troubleshooting code and refining hardware and, eventually, I had one of the best robots in Kentucky! There is nothing quite like toiling away at a project and finally seeing it fulfill its purpose.Currently, I am pursuing this passion for technology as a senior at the University of Kentucky. I am triple majoring in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Electrical Engineering so I can learn as much as possible about both software and hardware. I am also part of the Scholars in Engineering and Management program in the university's honors college, with the hope to continue into the MBA program. When I get the chance to step away from schoolwork, I love getting to help set up events at Christian Student Fellowship, lead a middle school group at Southland Christian Church, play pretty much any sport, and continue working on personal projects. Most recently, I have been developing a react native mobile app to help keep score in a card game. This summer, I am a software engineering intern at Hudl, a global company focused on pioneering performance analysis technology for over 40 different sports. I've loved getting to spend time in their Lexington office and learning from the team there. So far I've gotten the chance to work with the PHP framework, develop in a C# and .NET backend, create GraphQL queries, and implement a new production deploy process. I have learned a ton about quickly adapting to different programming styles, languages, and platforms to produce code update in a timely manner. Some of my other skills include: - Full Stack Development - Python, Java, C++, and Javascript/Typescript - LEAN Systems Certification - Robotics and Circuit Design - Hardware Description LanguagesIf you're interested in hearing more, want to tell me about yourself, or just want to bounce ideas off me, don't hesitate to send me a message!
