For Graduate School, I studied Public Administration with a specialty in Health Policy and Administration. I took a few MBA classes and was highly engaged in my research on Open Systems. In my Undergraduate years, I spent most of my time studying for my PreMed/Biology major, but, in my free time, I was active in student organizations and as an Ambassador for the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. I started my own organization for relief from the Hurricane Katrina. We were sponsored by the Salvation Army and held a benefit concert at the Melting Point in Athens, raising $3,400. I learned to ballroom dance through UGA courses and the weekly dancing events held around town. I was a member of UGA's Ballroom Performance Group and performed in the annual "Ballroom Magic" performance. I always found time to make art when I was at home.

My two main projects were finding resources for updating the health status baseline reports for each of the counties served by Columbus Regional and finding a way to promote the usage of other health services, besides the Emergency Department, by homeless individuals.
