Primary responsibilty is to design and develop software solutions to support the mortgage underwriting process. Curently developing RESTful microservices written in NodeJs with MongoDb and Rabbit MQ back end. At Coreworx the philosophy is to rotate developers and team leads through Sustaining Engineering(SE). This allows us to get an appreciation for customer issues and to take that knowledge and experience and apply it to future development. I have recently moved from Sustaining Engineering into an R&D role.Along with research and development, my responsibilities still include coaching junior developers, championing the Scrum process, and participating the interview process of hiring co-op students.

I am the Scrum Master as well as a the team lead for a group that consists of 4 developers and 2 QA person.Scrum duties include: coordinating and running all scrum related meetings. Ensuring team is on track to complete their committed tasks and if necessary removing any impediments from the team that is stopping them from performing their duties. My team lead duties include representing the team to the rest of the company, coordinating various tasks across team members. Coordinate patch release timing and patch contents with Customer Support and QA. As well I participate in the interview process for hiring co-op students.
