I am a shareholder and the current Managing Director of Formby Surveys, a professional measurement and surveying company specialising in all forms of geomatics and high precision measurement of land, buildings and utilities.

I held the position of Business Development Manager and Technical Advisor within MBS Survey Software Ltd, a company who specialise in the development of on-site real-time data capture and processing software for the survey industry.MBS has a direct link with Maltby Land Surveys Ltd one of the largest professional Land Survey companies in the UK.

I spent 3 years in Central London as head of department, setting up and establishing a Land Survey division within an existing Chartered Surveying practice.

I was employed by Met Surveys in Wakefield as a Senior Land Surveyor responsible for day-to-day surveys of land and buildings, and the management of them.This role allowed me to keep up to date with the latest software, hardware, instrumentation and methodology. Additionally I acted, on behalf of Met Surveys, as an external consultant for MBS Software Ltd.

I held the position of Survey Manager at their Leeds office, with a major input into the running and co-ordination of the business. After previously working at this company as an Assistant Land Surveyor during my University placement year and continuing to work as a Land Surveyor once I graduated, I was involved with extensive survey work including setting out, boundary and topographical surveys and measured building surveys.
