Currently optimizing data pipelines, updating processes, and supporting supply chain planning technologies. Graduated with a Computer Science degree from Goucher College, with a minor in Business Management. Went and did some web development, then moved to Genesis Financial Solutions where I assisted production in direct mail campaigns. I was soon given more responsibility, and set about coding analytical reports for the department as well as documenting existing processes. I was then tapped to join a team implementing a big data environment for our company. We were shifting from on prem servers to operating entirely within the cloud, utilizing Azure, Databricks, PowerBI, and other modern technologies. My work with Databricks opened a door at Columbia Sportswear for me. The transition to a large organization was a much needed change of pace, and I have been enjoying my work here. I have experience working in small, project-based teams, as well as independently. I am an avid learner and can adapt to new situations and technology with ease. I hope to find a career that can feed my endless curiosity while providing a friendly, energetic environment to work with Big Data technologies
