About Drew Clark (Wfr)
Hi, I'm Drew! I have been working seasonal since May of 2023 various outdoor jobs that have allowed me to grown my knowledge in conservation, education, mentoring, and leading. In May of 2023, I received my bachelors degree studying Recreation Management with a concentration in Outdoor Experiential Education. My outdoor professional carrer started ago at High Gravity Adventures holding positions ranging from customer service, climbing course operator and as a zip-line guide. While a student at Appalachian State University I had the opportunity to serve as a teachers assistant and a risk manager for collage level courses. Summer of 2023 I had the privilege of working at North Carolina Outward Bound School as a logistics coordinator. Winter and spring of 2023 to 2024 I worked as a snow board instructor at winter park resort. I then moved down the mountain to lead a youth core the jr ranger program with Open Space and mountain. park through the city of Boulder. I am currently working with Appalachia Conservation Corps; trial crew. My season will end soon and seeking out a job to help me grow my profession. I am very passionate about working in this field because I believe that individuals benefit from recreational activities to achieve a happy, fulfilled life. I also believe that recreational activities should be obtainable for all, especially individuals who have faced barriers in everyday life. My passion lies in instructing and working directly with individuals, sharing the joy of the outdoors and fostering a deep respect for nature.It is important to me to provide equal services to all individuals, as well as teach others about the outdoors and protect nature which provides us with multiple outdoor activities.Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate to make recreational activities more inclusive and accessible for everyone!
