Driven. Reliable. Engaged. Worker.Driven - Working in the sport industry is something that I have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. This passion is what led me to pursue a Sport Marketing and Management degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. While in high school, every day I would spend my study hall assisting the athletic director with his daily agenda in order to learn as much as I could about his role. When arriving in Bloomington, I wanted to continue my involvement with athletics by becoming a student-manager. I approached the women's basketball program about becoming a student manager for them my sophomore year. This resulted in me spending the next three seasons as a piece their program. This was an unpaid position that required 20-30 hours of my time each week. However, this was a position that I was incredibly passionate about, and I enjoyed every minute spent gaining experience with this program. Reliable - I have worked every shift imaginable thanks to the different jobs I have obtained over the course of my working career, but I have never showed up late or missed the workday entirely. There is a sense of pride that I have when it comes to not only showing up early but showing up prepared. When my workday starts, I am focused on nothing but diligently getting my work done for the day. Assisting co-workers or covering a shift for them when needed is something that I have never shied away from. Engaged - When I pull into the place that I am working, I am already enthusiastic about what it to come that day. Staying busy during the workday is something that I thrive on. If I get done with my own tasks for the day, I will look to assist others or improve the work environment in any way possible. Standing around and not actively engaging something irritates me, because of that I am always looking to do whatever is needed.Worker - Hard work was instilled in me at a young age, and I am incredibly thankful that was the case. I have been fortunate enough to independently provide for myself the past five years as a result of my work ethic. This is the skill that I will forever hang my hat on, and one that I know would be backed by any of my peers in any of the roles I have possessed.
