I’ve worked for other’s and myself. In a GC setting I would make a great Director of Operations, Project Manager or General Super. I'm perfect for a GC in flux- going up or down. EDGE dissolved- it did not bust out.In the past four years I have worked with four contractors to assess the viability of staying in business. I would like to get on the other side of the table i.e. Owner's Rep, Director of Construction. I am skilled in actual construction with an innovative eye to problem solving and avoidance. I'm facile and agile, noted for a collegial attitude w/ parties that are cooperative and brutal w/ non-performers.I'm a monster w/ spread sheets and schedules, a fair negotiator when it comes to change orders and a nitpicking assessor of progress payments and lien releases. My ego is big enough to diffuse conflict and my experience will allow for all out war without giving me a heart attack. I'm a noted record keeper and begin the close out process during the 2nd job meeting.I know when arbitrary and outdated holdover practices have to be jettisoned. I don’t really care why- tell me to drop the hammer and I will.That a strict "Money Ball" analysis of performance has to be instituted for all business relationships. That subs had to be analyzed on criteria other than low bid.
