When I was in middle school, one of my favorite TV shows was "How It's Made.” I thought the hidden world of manufacturing was fascinating. Now, I have the privilege of helping Eli Lilly Manufacturing reach tens of millions of patients. In my current role as Chief of Staff, I support the Sr. Vice President of Corporate Engineering. My responsibilities include meeting facilitation, site visit coordination, town hall preparation, execution of the engineering communication plan, major capital project updates, and ensuring effective communication with enterprise stakeholders.Prior to my Chief of Staff role, I had a large variety of experiences at our Device Assembly and Packaging site. In my first role as a Process Engineer for our Vial Packaging lines, I helped support the turnaround of an underperforming asset. My technical contributions helped us exceed the annual plan by nearly 25%. In my second role, I supported the ramp up of two new device assembly lines. In the first 12 months of running these lines, we achieved a 22% increase in throughput on one line and a 50% reduction in rejects on the other line. After gaining process engineering experience, I decided to move to a role in operations management. I helped lead the day-to-day operations of device assembly lines for Trulicity and Mounjaro. I also had a direct report team of 3 operations specialists who were responsible for our on-the-job training and our electronic batch record.Outside of work, I read books on a variety of topics including business, technology, history, psychology, and economics. I also completed MIT's MicroMasters program in Supply Chain Management.I love the manufacturing industry and my long term goal is to lead a cross-functional manufacturing organization.
