Managed large international SOX engagements for a global manufacturing company as well as risk-based audits in over 15 countries including, but not limited to Brazil, Costa Rica, Chile, France and Spain.Assisted with a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) Design Assessment identifying control gaps compared with CFPB standards for a Loan Servicing provider. Conducted interviews with key process owners for Complaint Management, Loan Servicing Transfers, Payment Processing, Periodic Statements, Borrower Benefits, and Credit Bureau Reporting. Created flowcharts to help the client better understand the control gaps within the process and provided recommendations for improvement.Performed a Variable Compensation Risk Assessment at a Fortune 500 company to assess whether the company's compensation policies and practices created risks that were reasonably likely to have a material adverse effect on the company (Item 402(s), SEC Regulation S-K).Developed risk assessment scorecards to evaluate a company's long and short-term compensation policies and programs; implemented this scorecard at three clients to uncover potential material compensation risks caused by acquisition activity and the absence of an internal review of long-term incentive compensation equity awards.

Assisted with the documentation and testing of SOX controls in a co-sourcing environment for a $2.6 billion card payment processor. Performed end-to-end process reviews to identify control weaknesses, process gaps and provide areas of improvement for Equity, Inventory, Human Resources, and Payroll processes.Assessed overall process effectiveness and efficiency as compared to the clients' strategic objectives as well as leading practices.Monitored the implementation of corrective recommendations for deficiencies and report findings to management to support status updates to the clients' Audit Committee.Collaborated with the external auditor to ensure the client was meeting expectations due to changes in PCAOB requirements.
