As a graduate of George Mason University's BFA Graphic Design program with high honors, I am especially proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, but have also used software like AfterEffects to learn about motion graphics), and have working knowledge of web design (Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS). As always, I am continuously learning new ways to grow in the field of graphic design, as it is an ever-evolving industry.Personally and professionally, the performing arts has always been a passion of mine, and something I hope to integrate into a professional design career, being able to promote artists and musicians through my creative skills. I have worked with many regional musical acts to create flyers and posters for their shows, and have even had designs appear on t-shirts and buttons. Some of my music-related clients are The Scotch Bonnets, The Fuss (D.C.), BlueBeat DC, as well as music-based podcast "Checkered Cast".Other Interests include marketing and promotions, typography, advertising, logo design, and illustration. I also have experience in branding, advertising and marketing, working as a contracted graphic designer for GMU's Center for the Arts in Fairfax, VA, and the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassass, VA.
