As someone with a consistently positive outlook and a constant energy, I will always prefer spending time in community. I am naturally extroverted, which drives me to start conversations and meet new people in all kinds of environments. During my time as an out-of-state student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I have continued to expand my network through involvement in various organizations. I have been involved in Phi Kappa Theta fraternity, the Nebraska Business Honors Academy, and the Lincoln Public School System, where I have had the opportunity to leverage my strengths to help others succeed.One of my favorite experiences in college has been my Peer Career Coach position in the Business Career Center, I am able to maximize my strengths to provide applicable feedback to students who are applying for both summer internships as well as full-time work opportunities. I understand how time-consuming and stressful the application process can be, and I want to help ease that burden. I love to see students succeed and put their best foot forward to invest in their future, making this role one that I enjoy and look forward to continuing.I have always been drawn to people-oriented careers, which is why I chose to pursue a degree in business. After researching the various majors in the business school, I decided to lock in a double major in Accounting and Finance, as I believe it will provide me with the necessary background to be versatile in the business world. I am confident that my strengths and experiences will enable me to continue using my positivity and energy in the workforce.
