During my six years as a Financial Analyst at the Goodrich corporate HQ, I had the opportunity to be a key member of several important teams and projects. The most notable roles include:* Mergers/Acquisitions: Full-time member of the 3-person corporate team responsible for $187M avionics business divestiture. Over the course of a very intense year, we successfully teamed with the executive management team at the business unit, outside legal counsel, and an investment banking team to identify potential buyers, lead the negotiations process, and ultimately close the deal with L-3 Communications. I am proud to have been part of such a successful and important corporate team at the company.* Financial Planning: I was the lone financial analyst assigned to the Engines Systems segment President and Controller, and we were responsible for the consolidated forecasting and reporting for the $2B Engines Systems segment. During those 2.5 years, I gained extensive amounts of financial planning and analysis experience and also a great deal of understanding for the aerospace industry.* Enterprise Portal: Analyst assigned to a project team responsible for designing and creating the company's first web portal. This successful 18-month project allowed the company's customers to place orders online across multiple business units for the first time, which was a big step for Goodrich.

I was an Operations Intern during the summer before my senior year at Purdue University. It was an amazing experience and a dream come true to be an employee of an NFL team.Brief Summary: The Operations Intern team was responsible for handling logistics for the players, coaches and staff during the annual summer Training Camp that was held at Rose-Hulman IT in Terre Haute, IN. Aside from the daily/weekly team requirements, we were responsible for preparing the team to play a preseason game in Mexico City, Mexico. That involved getting each player a US Passport and the appropriate work visa in addition to all of the other logistics that go into playing an out of town game.
