My primary role in the Shawnee Mission School District is to act as the ICT departmental leader to ensure that the organization successfully transitions from digital competence, through digital use, to digital transformation. My successful building of a team of professional technology experts is instrumental to supporting the district's strategic plan in not only those areas specific to technology to to all areas of the plan. After developing a vision for successful digital transformation I work intentionally and collaboratively with departmental and organizational personnel to formulate SMART goals that guide our work.My work with teams of professionals is guided by principals learned from thought leaders such as Gordon Smith, Tom Rath, Barry Conchie, Simon Sinek, Mark Miller, and Ken Blanchard. Additionally, as a certified trainer in Model-Netics, the principals of those models from Harold Hook guide my work on a daily basis.Some examples that show successes so far include: • Implementation of 30K plus student and teacher devices for our Digital Learning Initiative with sustainable capital outlay budget for future years.. • Development and implementation of new fiber optic WAN with diverse Internet connectivity. • Data and Voice infrastructure overhaul with sustainable capital outlay budget for future years. • Adoption and implementation of the Cisco Security ELA for better data security and infrastructure integrity. • Adoption and implementation of Cisco Collaboration Platform using WebEx and Spark in innovative, educational capacity.

Provide department level leadership as head of district IT. Responsible for all aspects of strategicIT planning, implementation and support district-wide and an integral component of district'seducational vision. Managed large staff and delivered multiple projects on time and withinbudget.
