My education and business exposure have allowed me to develop a variety of analytical skills. I have experience in Canadian and global equity and ETF markets at the macro economic, industry and stock specific levels. In addition to the measures employed in more traditional analytics, I have been involved in developing downside risk measurement models and their application in portfolio optimization. My experience has given me exposure to investment models designed for institutions, pension plans, segregated funds for life insurance clients and for high net worth individuals. The combination of my experiences only serves to enhance my primary endeavour, the construction and development of macro-driven, global tactical investment strategies using ETFs. My work in the fields of both macro economic analysis and the ETF industry at large allows me to approach the development of ETF-driven portfolio strategies from a number of different angles, leading to more creative, complete, and effective solutions for clients.
