Device Payment Accounting Assurance ReconciliationsPlan, Scope, Track and Manage various POS, billing and revenue accounting system code changes and system enhancements for issues uncovered within the accounting reconciliation process for the Device Payment accounting sub-ledger. Facilitate meetings and lead discussions with cross functional teams under the Wireless Finance organization such as Revenue Accounting, Inventory Accounting, Point of Sale VIP, FCRG, VISION RBF, REVO and CSG to discuss and plan ongoing objectives and action items for various Point of Sale, Inventory and Vision Billing system enhancements.Create and log I.T. system defects & user story projects as well as validate code change results and enhancements after an Enterprise Release. Prepare and present senior level management communications including powerpoint, weekly updates and daily project tracking metrics for working sessions as well as UAT and regression testing.Draft business cases, requirements documentation, capital budget request, cloud data security exception request for accounting data migration efforts while remaining in compliance with Verizon policies and procedures. Manage and modify a project approach as required to redirect activities as needed to ensure progress is being made toward specified program objectives.

Refund Audit Validation & ReconciliationCollaborate with IT to develop and manage the refund order reconcilation audit process. Gather and analyze data to discuss objectives. Test performance controls and bug/fixes as needed to ensure finance system gaps are resloved during development. Write business cases and user stories for project enhancements that IT development teams can implement then host touch point meetings in order to track changes throughout the development stages of the project. Write complex SQL logic to gather existing point of sale data for the population of newly built refund audit tables then perform UAT and Regression testing on data inserted into those tables. Provide precise feedback to IT development teams for improvements and categorization of issues into different queues of work. Train analyst to perform front end UAT testing and regression testing on the newly developed audit process in order to obtain feedback for future enhancements to the graphical user interface (GUI).

Clearing​ ​Accounts ReconciliationCollaborate with IT development teams to launch a reconciliation process that resolves accounting imbalances within the sub-ledger booking process for the 13100 Direct Clearing Account. Identify and analyze large amounts of point of sale finance data and categorize discrepancies into issues. Write complex SQL logic to quantify revenue impacting trends that exists within the current Device Payment Point of Sale flows. Determine the financial impact of issues identified then provide findings to the point of sale IT teams in order to obtain Enterprise Release (ERs) fixes and close gaps. Log IT tickets based on findings and participate in discussions with IT and Accounting teams in order to develop requirements that provide fixes to major revenue impacting issues uncovered.Test ER solutions and validate the the effects they have on other point of sale processes. Perform UAT and Regression testing on the continuous development of the reconciliation processes.

Device Payment Audit ReconciliationPerform various quality assurance and leadership ad-hoc reviews as well as coach, train and mentor finance audit professionals under the POS Assurance Team to ensure that all audits are completed within Verizon policies and procedures. Identify discrepancies within the existing device payment creation process, update documentation and perform UAT testing on new audit queues added to existing QA processes.Ensure that performance accuracy remained above 99.67% each month to avoid duplicate efforts and the re-working of past audits.

Perform a detailed analysis of unbilled customer usage records within the VISION rating system to resolve billing discrepancies pertaining to various 4G data, inter-carrier voice roaming and MTAS network provisioning. Quantify financial impact, file and log IT tickets for tracking progress and discussion purposes until a resolution has been implemented. Perform UAT and Regression Testing of new product launches and monitor their effects on the VISION billing system from end to end.
