- Streamlining real estate transactions. Projects include: improving our renovations/vendor management process; digitizing sellers’ final walkthroughs; simplifying (by enabling automation of) our listings process; ensuring the safety of our homes, customers, and employees with better risk assessment.- Building applications in Go, React, Ruby on Rails, Elixir, and Angular 1.4. Using GraphQL, gRPC, protocol buffers.- Our team works closely with our operators, building internal tools to help improve our processes.- Working in an on-call rotation for product support

- Led a software team in a Scrum environment throughout enterprise customer onboarding, new product development, and technical debt.- Met with clients to ensure proper integration touch points between hotel source systems and our ETL pipeline.- Integrated CI/CD pipelines into existing Java projects using source-controlled build pipelines.- Monitored & managed our product's system in AWS- Participated in a company-wide effort for improving code quality.- Organized a quarterly local-technology-department-wide town hall (~45 people) to celebrate successes, provide clarity on the office’s impact, and promote office cohesion.- Interviewed for software engineering positions in the Atlanta office. Eager to integrate these people into existing teams.- Led the delegation of user authentication/authorization from a secondary product to a core product to improve user experience by reducing the number of logins a user has and to bring the former into SOC2 compliance. Tackled CORS issues. This included exposing data from a legacy system so that we could remove user management from the secondary product.

- Led re-write of a lead scoring application from R into python- Extended configuration options to provide customer insight into the scoring algorithm. This included adding an interactive configuration calendar and integrating data from other Cvent systems to the same calendar and the scoring application.- Extracted data from Salesforce to ETL data through a micro-service architecture written in Node.JS and Typescript- Built Java service to provide data for business intelligence reports for hotels on their use of Cvent’s platform. Led implementation of venue performance metrics.- Extended existing Java micro-services to add endpoints to extract data from a legacy database.

- Led a research group to propose projects and deliver their results to an executive team.- Rated planners’ prospective business. We clustered hotels together, and then designed an algorithm based on historical data about the planners.- Wrote an algorithm to automatically assign space within a hotel- Wrote production aggregations in python for the Lead Scoring project- Built Tableau reports of product usage and product data- Used python for analysis (pandas, jupyter)

- Wrote production code in R to evaluate the quality of business for particular hotels - Rated prospective business at a hotel based on factors of the incoming RFP (lead) as well the current availability data and historical data for the hotel.- Analyzed customer data to develop and validate business heuristics- Built a system to run aggregations of historical customer data- Managed Docker deployment & operation of scoring server- Grew this team from just me to me and ultimately 2 other full time analysts
