With over 18 years of work experience, I am a versatile and creative professional who combines my passion for music and technology with my leadership and management skills. I am the Business Director at Sitka Fine Arts Camp, a nonprofit organization that provides arts education and enrichment programs for children and adults. I am responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and strategic aspects of the camp, as well as developing and maintaining partnerships with donors, sponsors, and community stakeholders. I am motivated by the mission of the camp, which is to foster creativity, discovery, and personal growth through the arts. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have a background in both music and IT, and I have worked with various clients and audiences in different settings and industries.In addition to my role at Sitka Fine Arts Camp, I am also the owner and founder of JD Music Experience LLC, a musical performance group that I started in 2011. I lead the group in composing, producing, and performing original songs and covers, as well as managing the business aspects of the group, such as marketing, booking, and distribution. I have released three critically acclaimed albums and sold thousands of records, and I have established and fostered relationships with several outside vendors, sponsors, and radio stations.
