Ohio State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Education, with a Sport Industry major and Communications minor. Possess an incredible depth of knowledge of the sport industry and a keen interest in creating and publishing digital content, engaging fans and followers, and driving traffic across social and web channels. ★ ★ ★ During my time as a graphic design intern with the Detroit Pistons in the 2022-23 NBA season, I focused my energy creating designs that catered to multiple different media channels and print projects. I had the opportunity to utilize my creativity while staying within brand guidelines for all various projects. I took lead in multiple retail item promotions where I built out a stylescape relevant with our collaborator for the specific retail drop. This not only gave me the experience to expand outside the norm when designing, but more importantly gave me the responsibility to create a creative and appealing look for our retail promotions. I implemented features that are also relevant in our collaborator’s creative work, giving people an idea we collaborated with them, just off the initial look. Working with such a prominent organization meant I had to juggle multiple different projects at once. Having 82 games in 7 months, it was crucial to move fast in a proficient manner. My experience with the Detroit Pistons was career altering. ★ ★ ★ Throughout the Sport Industry program at Ohio State I have been preparing for administrative, social media, and sport communication roles. In addition, I have been designing original graphics for personal use and commissions for the past 3 years largely focused on professional and NCAA- inspired products. I look for and follow consumer trends, design to engage fans, and produce artwork leveraged digitally. I balanced my hefty school schedule with my passion for graphic design. I have consistently been producing content while partaking in 18 credit hours in my final two semesters. As of 2022, I have freelance clients who rely upon me to produce appropriate graphics on a timely basis. As I’ve come to realize, quality is much more important than quantity when working in a creative field such as graphic design. Being able to hold and maintain different clients is crucial when building a brand for yourself. ★ ★ ★
