Areas of Responsibility:• 5 direct reports, 2 dotted-line reports, spanning Accounting, Operations, HR, and IT.• Accounting/Finance: Oversee Staff Accountant, Inventory and Cost Accountant, Forecast and Planning Analyst. Responsible for G/L entries, revenue recognition and reporting, banking, external audits, inventory, costing, budgeting, forecasting, planning, data management, controls, and policy in accordance with GAAP.• Purchasing/Receiving: Oversee Purchasing Manager, all requisition, vendor selection, and the proper receipt and A/P booking for all materials.• Production: Oversee forecasting and scheduling of plant production and packaging. Designed annual production models that optimize seasonal production and allowed for a 10%+ increase in plant capacity• IT: In charge of all on-site IT, including purchasing, provisioning, and repair of all computers and network equipment. Designed and implemented a 5 server, multi-location, remote access, company-wide network. Oversee all server and database management.• HR: Oversee HR manager. Responsibilities include processing payroll, hiring, policy and procedure, as well as all HR best practices for a small, growing business.• Development: Designed strategy and plans for a $25MM expansion plant from the ground up, including working with architects, builders, developers, equipment fabricators, investors and local government.• Compliance: Managed Federal, State, and EU alcoholic beverage compliance, as well as Federal and State audits.
