In this role, I drove QA testing, 3D modeling, and animation using Maya and Unity Animator. I developed in-game characters and items such as swords, barrels, and rocks. I also created organic and hard-surface models for UV mapping, texturing, and custom rigging, and verified polycount were the right level for all models. Finally, I oversaw testing and designed surveys to analyze feedback from other playtesters.Select Highlights:➤ Improved camera control and animation QA rating from ~3.0/5.0 to 5.0/5.0 – I gathered information based on user experience from 30 players to run real-world tests, compile results, find the root causes, and resolve the problems.➤ Fully rigged four models for a two-semester project, hit all eight milestones, and achieved on-time delivery – I used Maya and Unity 3D to test animation in multiple passes to test proficiencies and meet the overall game vision.

For this project, I designed the starting portion of the game and compelling levels to encourage player exploration. I built cells and 3D models for rare items. Additionally, I programmed UI elements, scene transitions, and co-created art. I play-tested levels to identify bugs and to ensure a superior user experience. I also held and led team meetings to discuss project status, issues, technology, and innovative ideas.Select Highlights:➤ Completed two passes of in-depth QA testing – I verified that colliders lined up correctly, fixed issues with leaving the starting point, and added user-friendly features to create a first-class game experience.
