To whom it may concern I am writing this letter as a character and work ethic reference for Andrew Knapp.In my career running welding and oilfield construction shops, I have only had a few employees that I would take the time to write a significant letter of reference for. Out of the hundred or so employees that I have had direct supervision over, there are only 1/2 dozen that I can, without reservation, recommend for employment in any capacity as a fabricator.Over the years that I have had the pleasure to work with Andrew, he proved himself a reliable and honest worker who quickly gained the trust and admiration of everyone he worked with. I did not leave the keys to my shop in the hands of many people, but Andrew was one of the few people that I knew I could count on. I cannot honestly think of a single time that Andrew was not the first to raise his hand when I asked for someone to stay late so we could meet a deadline. I can think of several times when11:00 p.m. or later showed on his timesheets and I remember a particular time when Andrew came in at 3:00 a.m. to make sure our equipment was on the truck and ready first thing in the morning.The next time that I am in the position to hire another pressure welder, Andrew will be the first call I make.
