I am fascinated by business and the various ways people make a living. It is often through trial and error that people find the niche that propels them toward greater profitability; the question is, how long does that take? Can you get to your goals faster through peer learning? As a veteran business executive, I help leaders reach their goals quicker with a more focused and targeted approach. My background is in the technology industry. I’ve spent 30 years developing a broad range of skills in business and technology management as well as account and territory development. I’ve held a variety of positions such as founder and CEO of three startups and COO for another. I’ve been in business development, sales, and sales management roles. I’ve dealt with issues surrounding leadership, growth, human resources, and financial planning while working with companies in the manufacturing, construction, banking, legal, finance, insurance, distribution, and retail segments.My passion is aligning technology and business processes to support strategic business growth and profitability. While growth is a common goal, a leadership team may not recognize when the company is growing too fast. If the organization is not prepared financially, structurally, and operationally, rapid growth can be problematic. Fortunately, there are ways to manage growth well.I believe in the old adage that "In an abundance of counselors there is success" and that no one should have to go it alone. That’s why I became a Vistage chair.
