My Transition from being an Engineer to a Leader started in the beginning of COVID. Many of our clients were not allowing Technicians to be on site. Due to not having the ability to work remotely, if a Tech was unable to find work to do, they needed to take PTO. While managing my primary client with 1100+ Users and leading my client’s projects. I found and coordinated work for 19 techs. I also trained and provided them learning opportunities to expand their skill sets all while managing my own Client.Since then, I have become the Team Lead for our Healthcare Clients. Prior to my being in this position, each tech was isolated in their space, and documentation and cross training did not exist. I created a culture on the team to not only address the lack of an existing knowledgebase and support. My Team of 5 are now the leading documenters and cross trainers of the company.As a Team Lead, I focus on the following: Providing opportunity for growth and success. Maintaining and cultivating a positive culture with high morale. Building long lasting relationships between FIT Technologies and our Clients. Being an Ambassador for FIT at all times. Building and improve existing policies both within FIT Technologies, and for our clients. Provide training and always be available for escalated issues.

As the Primary Engineer for Coleman Professional Services. The role supports 25+ Service Locations, and 60+ Residential Locations, and their 1100+ users. Working directly with Coleman’s Leadership, to identify and resolve technology issues to maintain and build an improved infrastructure. As well as ensure HIPPA compliance, Best Security Practice, and address any technology issues that arise. The systems directly supported include, Windows, Android, iOS, MacOS, Windows Server (2002,2008,2012), Azure, PowerBI, SQL Based Applications, Manage Engine Service Desk Plus, vSphere Hypervisor, Exchange 2002, Office 365, Active Directory, Mitel Phone System, Broadvoice B-Hive Phone system, Qualifacts while navigating a high energy work environment, meeting strict deadlines efficiently with client side satisfaction.

The Primary role was to provide network and hardware support for Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Ravenna, Cuyahoga, and Warren Charter Schools. Implemented new technologies into school systems and maintained the old. The scope ranged from hardware to software. This involved cabling and installing drops, installing and configuring new servers, as well as support software for student education. Working with Google Admin, AD, and MX-SW100 Print Release software for our “anywhere” printing solution. Fitimplemented the ‘As a service’, which is Fit’s answer to asset tracking and technology upgrading.

The Primary role was to process new Information Service User Requests (ISURs) and Service Manager tickets, with a focus on New Hires and Change Existing requests. Imaging Windows 7 and Windows 8 devices, installing software and Virtual Machines, setup user workstations, and setup hardware. As well asassisted with creating batch files and power shell files to help increase the efficiency of our processes. Managed phone systems such as Element Manager and Call Pilot Manager. Daily, installed and configured Lotus Notes, VPN and many applications for standard users and developers. Worked with the AD and HP Service Manager on inventory. Also assisted with basic networking, such as patching cables and tracing ports.
