Since November 2023, I have had the privilege to handle the Senator's agriculture portfolio, serving North Dakota's farmers and ranchers who do the important and strenuous work that feeds our state, nation, and world. I have worked with peers on the Hill, stakeholders, and constituents on critical issues impacting our producers who are facing record high input costs, high interest rates, lacking commodity prices, and the constant onslaught of erroneous regulation. I am blessed to be able to give back to my great state of North Dakota where we do agriculture and energy best.
