MindPsy utilises passive data analysis to assess changes in emotional wellbeing; where it detects decline, it reaches out as an individualised Ai Avatar mental health mentor, trained to target the single most common factor in mental health conditions: Relationship to self and others.

As the Project Manager for the SW CYP IAPT transformation of Children’s Mental health services, my role was to provide support and collaboration with the statutory and non-statutory services throughout the South West to embed the principles and practices of CYP IAPT. As a broad, rural geographic area, with many VCSO organisations as part of the South West provision, I worked on developing and implementing a strategy to bring services closer together; to share best practice, remain updated with national delivery models such as iThrive, and work together as a network of services within their STP footprints. I implemented a number of mechanisms to support this: 1. Quarterly reports and consultations on the self-assessment data that services provided for national returns; 2. Quarterly collaborative meetings where services joined together at the University under three aimsa. To stay updated on national policy and developments, b. To share examples of best practice from services, and from young peoples’ participation groups. c. To engage in a solution focussed problem solving exercises through the afternoon where services could gain support for their challenges. 3. South West CYP IAPT kitemarking, as an opportunity to award services for both their efforts and progression in implementing CYP IAPT principles.4. I designed and built, including all branding and content, the South West CYP IAPT website, which is now the central portal for services and commissioners to understand the details of training on offer, the south west best practice, and national updates.

As Academic Lead I oversee the programme content, set and mark the assessments, and ensure that the programme adheres closely to the learning objectives outlined in the curriculum. I work closely with placement supervisors to ensure students progression, and support students where they have difficulties with the course.

Parent Perspectives created a Biopsychosocial Antenatal programme to support parents in the transition to parenthood. Its content included support around the emotional and social changes in the transition to parenthood - aspects which traditional Antenatal programmes do not support - in an attempt to support and prevent Antenatal and Post-natal Depression. Following evidence around the efficacy of computerised emotional wellbeing support, Parent Perspectives content will be translated into online modules for parents to download, and ultimately for Antenatal teachers to gain license to.

Within my practicing post I worked alongside children with physical health problems, and their families, to help them through recovery and to live a fulfilling life alongside long term conditions.
