CurrentDr Alberta has been a premiere orthopedic surgeon in North Jersey for over 20 years. As an expert in shoulder and elbow surgery, he has helped thousands of patients regain their quality of life. He is the recipient of over 35 Top Doctor awards and multiple Patient Choice awards. He has educated dozens of the next generation of orthopedic surgeons through his academic and clinical appointments with Rutgers University New Jersey medical school and now with Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr Alberta has published numerous journal articles on shoulder and elbow topics and has authored multiple text book chapters. He continues to be involved in many local, regional and national societies. He has served on multiple committees as an active member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and as a past president of the New Jersey Orthopaedic Society. Dr. Alberta was born and raised in Bergen County and is grateful for the opportunity to give back to the members of his community.
