Dr. Frank Brettschneider uses his two decades of experience to treat patients as the President of Port Huron ENT. He graduated as valedictorian with a degree in pharmacy from Ferris State University at Big Rapids in 1981. Continuing his education at Michigan State University, Dr. Frank Brettschneider acquired his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 1985, simultaneously volunteering at the Cristo Rey Health Clinic as a Pharmacist to expand his professional experience. With a specialization in oro-facial surgery, Dr. Frank Brettschneider started his private practice in 1990, handling over 600 surgical procedures every year since then. Offering both medical and cosmetic procedures at his practice, Dr. Frank Brettschneider is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, the Oro-Facial Plastic Board, and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Dr. Frank Brettschneider serves as a Fellow of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AOCOO-HNS). The association has honored him with the Presidential Achievement Award, the Foundation Award, and the Governor’s Achievement Award. With his dedication to his craft, Dr. Frank Brettschneider has served as Secretary and Allergy Section Chair from 2004 to 2005 as well as Vice President of the AOCOO-HNS from 2004 to 2006. Dr. Frank Brettschneider has also utilized his expertise to author articles such as “Pregnancy Induced Rhinitis,” “Pharmacotherapeutics of Fat Emboli,” and “Incidence of Complications for Subtotal Ionized Field Ablation of the Tonsils.”
