Gandhy A. Lopez, born in Colombia and in 2014 immigrated to the United States; He is married to Ana López with whom he has three sons: Greg, Armen and Joshua. He graduated with honors from the Minute of God University (Minuto De Dios), Bogota Colombia, where he received the title of Professional in philosophy with a diploma in Ethics and teaching. He has developed Bible studies in which he specialized in exegesis and biblical historiography for which he had to learn the biblical languages such as Hebrew, Greek and part of Aramaic, as well as Latin. He has a master's degree in theology and a Doctor of Ministry in Biblical and Theological Studies. For many years he worked as a professor in Colombia of Sacred Scriptures and theology, an associate professor at the Minute of God University (Minuto de Dios), and a consultant in evangelization strategies, development of pastoral plans, missionary and parish formation. He was director of radio programs, preacher and writer. Formed for 12 years for the priestly ministry in the Human, pastoral, academic and spiritual areas, especially in the Benedictine spirituality as a monk. He’s passions and ministerial life can be summarized in one sentence: “I try to unite the intensity of life with the clarity of the analysis from a deep experience of faith”. Gandhy is currently involved in the work of the Latin Ministry of the Episcopal Church where he has participated in conferences such as: New Horizons, Ecumenical Leadership Academy, Technology of Participation (ToP), A program of the Institute of Cultural Affairs in the USA, and ELMC in Claremont CA last Jun. He enjoys music and art, as well as cooking and getting together with family and friends.
