I was part of the senior Exec team, defining company policy and future strategy.I identified potential new product developments and established a future road map for the next generation of products. I was responsible for the daily project control within an agile environment including resource allocation and budget setting.I had daily control of external contract houses for the next generation of product development, plus for the first time ever my team successfully delivered a PC based Patient Data Management software program to record patient records plus what Therapy treatment they had received. I was responsible for the introduction on a new gateway process based on the V-model development model. With my team I successfully delivered a range of research products, from concept to production, inc. supporting the FDA 510K submission which included BSI safety and general testing. My team of 30 highly specialised personnel worked to a number of standards such as EN 60601-1-4 1997 Medical Electrical Equipment. ISO 14971:2009 Medical devices risk management. The company worked to ISO 13485 Quality system. The team worked extensively with BSI and also undertook Internal CE marking of products. My team was made up of highly specialised Design, Electro-mechanical, electronics, Software and Mechanical , Risk Management and Usability personnel.
