I'm Dr.G Balamurali, an internationally acclaimed and trained Spinal neurosurgeon based in Chennai. My surgical experience spans over 22 years of profound experience in healing and soothing woes. At present, for the past 22 years, I'm working as an expert Neurosurgeon. I was also fortunate enough to get exclusively trained for 3 years in almost every niche aspect of Spinal Surgery in the United Kingdom(Liverpool & Nottingham), Switzerland (Zurich) and the USA (San Francisco & Chicago). I could master the newer techniques in the field of neurosurgery by traveling across continents and getting trained under the best Spine Surgeons all over the world. I was always keen to do my bit for society and as a recognition for the same, I was awarded by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Lead India 2012, 2nd National Movement, at Coimbatore on 14/12/2012. I'm also a recipient of several Rotary awards for the RASTRA (Rotary Aid for Spine Treatment and Rehabilitation) project. Recently, I got awarded in August 2019 "The Best Doctor Award" by the Government for my contribution to healthcare in Tamil Nadu, India. When it comes to international awards and recognitions, thankfully I could come up with a few feathers on my cap! I won the Health Care Administration (HCA) International Foundation Travel Fellowship Award at London, the UK (2009), Prof. Alan Crockard International Travel Fellowship Award Spine Section by the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Orlando, USA, Feb 2010, and, the International Travel Scholarship Synthes, Europe, and Medtronic, USA, January 2010.
