Prior to joining RMIT University in 2008, Dr Baxter held cargo management positions with Continental Airlines, Ansett Australia and Emirates Airline. Dr Baxter's PhD was conferred in July 2011, with his thesis examining the impact of power regimes on the commercial exchange dynamics and level of value capture by airlines and other stakeholders in air cargo supply chains. The thesis also examined the strategic options available to the industry actors to enhance their value capture and business success. His research interests include air cargo and airline operations, air cargo hubbing and freighter networks, supply chain management and aviation strategy.Coordination, development and delivery of the RMIT University under and post graduate aviation programs. Develop and deliver the AERO2377 Introduction to Aviation, AERO2382 Airport Planning and Management, AERO2410 Airline Operations and AERO2426 Air Cargo Management and Operations in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Aviation) and AERO2307 Airline Operations, AERO2322 Airline Marketing, and AERO2460 Airport Design and Operations courses in the Master of Aviation Industry Management programs.
