Dr. George Gertner is New York-based chiropractor who specializes in a form of upper cervical care called the NUCCA technique, a very specific and very gentle chiropractic treatment method that makes a gentle adjustment to the first vertebra in the back called the atlas.Dr. Gertner earned his doctorate in chiropractic from Life University in Marietta, Ga. He is also a graduate of Hofstra University, where he received his bachelor's degree in biology. He is the founder of the Upper Cervical Chiropractic of New York (UCC-NY), one of the few health care centers in the state offering the NUCCA technique.
