I am currently the Manager of Process Development and Manufacturing Chemistry at Singular Genomics where I manage a team with the goal of optimizing the synthesis and purification of reversible terminating nucleotides.Previously, as Senior Scientist and Manager of Nucleotide Chemistry at Roche/Stratos Genomics, I focused on small molecule synthesis, and nucleotide and oligonucleotide chemistry to improve and optimize the SBX technology. My research at WR Grace involved the synthesis and process development of various metallocene catalysts and pharmaceutical precursors. My undergraduate research under Dr. Amanda Murphy focused on the synthesis of different length oligoether linker molecules to copolymerize with thiophene based derivates, with the intention of increasing the porosity and mechanical properties of the bulk conducting polymer, specifically during actuation.
