I am a GP with a passion for medical management; I have held several leadership roles in the past ten years and have also completed a Masters in Healthcare Leadership at University of Birmingham, passed with Distinction. I continue to be fascinated by the ability of technology to enhance patient care. My current role is Chief Medical Officer at Doccla which provides an end-to-end solution for remote patient monitoring. I previously worked as Chief Clinical Officer at NHS Digital where I provided the leadership to NHS Pathways and the nhs.uk website. I have advanced skills in managing and appraising healthcare teams as well as offering clinical expertise. I am experienced in CQC preparation and follow up, managing relations with key stakeholders, advanced complaint handling, business development including bid preparation and presenting, representation at inquests, coordinating and delivering training to healthcare teams. I am fortunate to maintain direct patient contact though regular clinical work in Urgent Treatment Centres.
