In 1988, her vision became a reality with the formation of White Rock Center of Hope - an ecumenical ministry supported by 13 area churches.In 1999, WRCH moved to its current location on Garland Road - a 16,000 square foot facility with room for a Thrift Store and for expanded basic needs services to support people experiencing challenging times. In 2021 long-time Executive Director Ted Beechler retired, and the Board selected Dr. Greg Smith as the organization’s new leader. In 2022, programming expanded from basic needs (food, clothing, and financial assistance) to include empowerment programming. Today, with the help of more than 50 faith and business partners and more than 1,000 volunteers, WRCH provides hope with love to more than 7,000 East Dallas residents a year. -

In 2018, WMC rebranded to become the Mansfield Mission Center. Motivated by Christ’s love for all, today the Mansfield Mission Center promotes comprehensive wellbeing so that all who call Mansfield ISD home can thrive. Current programs and services focus on the social determinants of health, and are conducted in partnership with other non-profit organizations. -
