Dr. Gürsu Aşık, Metatips yapay zeka destekli öğrenme platformunun kurucu ortağıdır. İş geliştirme ve strateji yöneticisi olarak çalışmalarına devam etmektedir.Lisans ve yüksek lisans eğitimini 2009’da Boğaziçi Üniversitesi’nde, doktora eğitimini ise 2015’de Marmara Üniversitesi’nde matematik öğretmenliği programında tamamlamıştır. Öğrenim süresince Boğaziçi Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi'nde araştırma görevlisi olarak çalıştıktan sonra, Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi'nde Dr. Öğr. Üyesi olarak çalışmaya başlamıştır. 2012-2014 yılları arasında Avrupa Öğrenin ve Öğretim Araştırmaları Birliği’nin (EARLI), Üstbiliş Özel İlgi Grubu’nun genç araştırmacılar koordinatörlüğünü yürütmüştür. Metatips projesine ilham kaynağı olan öğrencilerin problem çözmede düşünme becerilerini geliştirmeye odaklı doktora tezi ile en iyi bildiri ödülü almıştır."Çocuk Nasıl Düşünür?" sorusunu her zaman çalışma odağında tutarak, 2007 yılından itibaren bireylerin düşünme ve problem çözme becerilerini geliştirme ve değerlendirme çalışmalarına ulusal ve uluslararası alanda hem kamu hem de özel sektörde devam etmektedir.
