As well as verification services to ensure the effective implementation of operator Risk Management Programmes (RMP), Food Safety Programmes, and compliance with Market Access Requirements across meat and non-meat sectors - such as hides, skin and slinks, rendering, egg producing, poultry processing, pet food (animal consumption), cold storage facilities, apiarist and honey, and pharmaceutical. Responsibilities included serving as an Animal Products Officer under the Animal Products Act 1999, issuing export certifications and official assurances for animal products, and acting as an Animal Welfare Inspector under the Animal Welfare Act 1999 to monitor and regulate animal welfare. Accreditation was achieved as a QMS Lead Auditor (AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008), auditing quality management systems for compliance with quality standards, along with HACCP application unit standards.
