Emergency Medical Officer
Manage and support all related clinical activities under the supervision of consultant/ specialist doctor. Responsible for detailed history taking, physical examination (such as checking BP, Sugar), check reports and documentation under guidance of senior doctor. Assist physicians during surgery, routine checkups and regular visit to patients. Monitor patient's condition, based on the history and physical examination. Perform procedures like IV cannulation, lumbar puncture, ascitic and pleural fluid aspiration, NG tube insertion, urinary catheterization and all sorts of dressing and performing minor surgical procedures e.g. incision and drainage of abscess, secondary closure of wound. Supervise the patient scheduling, medical records and data entry. Report to senior management, as well as liaising between administrative and medical staff. Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
