About Heather Fulton, Phd, Rpsyc

I am a Psychologist who is passionate about translating mental health research to help those who will use it: clients, their loved ones, and helping professionals. Much of my time is focused on training and mentoring helping professionals in evidence-based psychotherapies such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I have extensive research, assessment and intervention experience in the area of concurrent substance use and mental health disorders in particular. I regularly assist and consult on program development and evaluation projects.I also provide therapy services to individuals experiencing mental health concerns and/or family members who have loved ones with substance use challenges.
