About Helen Abdali Soosan Fagan, Ph.D.

Leadership, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion scholar and practitioner with 30+ years experience in this field. I have created and led a Diversity initiative as well, as taught, consulted and researched this topic. My book, Becoming Inclusive: A Worthy Pursuit in Leadership published in 2021, dives into my path and provides guidance for those seeking to do the same. Whether you are desiring to become more inclusive as a leader or create a program or educate your team, my book is your guide. Because developing inclusive leaders is my passion, I approach this work using research based tools, knowledge and skills. As a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory, I have administered this tool to over 10,000 participants since 2007. And as a trained executive coach, and emotional intelligence facilitator, I have used these methods to develop inclusive leadership capacity in graduate and undergraduate students as well as leaders at all levels of organizations, communities and educational institutions. I believe leaders are those who use positive influence to develop the capacity of others while achieving goals.
