Leading campus-wide efforts to ensure the institution's compliance with accreditation standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and with standards imposed by U.S. Department of Education (USDOE) and similar agencies, and ensuring continuous improvement in academic programs through the regular assessment of student learning outcomes and through regular academic program review, and supporting efforts to secure and maintain programmatic and specialty accreditations held by individual academic programs.

Providing leadership to the campus to remain compliant with SACSCOC and US Department of Education policies and standards; assisting with programmatic accreditations; chairing the Assessment Steering Committee and Academic Assessment Council; chairing the Accessibility Implementation Team working to make the institution's information, instructional materials and technology accessible to all.

Worked to enhance and enrich summer sessions at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, including working with students, faculty, and staff to identify ways in which summer classes can best serve the university's overall goals of improving the educational experience for both undergraduate and graduate students while also making the best use of its resources throughout the academic year. Chairing a team to implement information, materials and technology accessibility at UT Knoxville.

Worked to educate member institutions to facilitate compliance with Commission policy and accurate reporting of institutional substantive changes; evaluated requests for substantive changes and recommended action to be taken; and served as a resource to Commission vice presidents on matters related to substantive change.

Coordinated Brenau University's reaffirmation process (2011, 1 recommendation), level change (2012, no recommendations), and substantive changes, as well as all other communication with the SACS Commission on Colleges. Coordinated the Institutional Effectiveness group, bringing together assessment, institutional research, strategic planning, and the QEP, a critical thinking project to function in concert.

Developed and facilitated a rigorous online facilitator certification class for future online instructors, developed a self-paced tutorial for the learning management system (Blackboard), and worked with others to identify academic and support services for students that could be extended to the online environment. Instrumental in the development of a 2-year general education offering in the online format, strategized with various departments and offices to offer student services online, conceived and established an annual Online Facilitator Summit professional development event, and supervised online faculty and student support personnel.

Taught Introduction to Education Technology; assisted with research, manuscript preparation and editing, and grant writing.

Worked as Compliance Officer in Auburn, AL, then worked at corporate in Birmingham, AL as a deposit regulation specialist.

Administratively supported the lending branch that handled corporate loans of $2 million and more, including monitoring daily cash positions, collateral files, etc.
