Directed a $30 million budget and 50 full-time employees, including 9 program directors and 5 team leaders in support of the state’s federal-state cooperative labor market information and statistical programs under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Labor – Bureau of Labor Statistics and U.S. Department of Labor – Employment and Training Administration. Directed the state’s strategic workforce initiatives including: Strategic Skills Initiative, Workforce Literacy pilot programs, Major Opportunities pre-apprenticeship training program, Training Acceleration Grants (Incumbent Worker Training), Work Ethic program, and ACT WorkKeys program.Developed the Indiana Workforce Intelligence System in partnership with the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and the Indiana Department of Education to link state education and employment administrative/performance data to track the education to workforce pipeline and ensure alignment between workforce supply and demand.Produced analysis and reports for the Governor’s Office, Indiana Economic Development Corporation and workforce development stakeholders on workforce development trends and issues.
