With over 25 years of experience in education and behavioral health, I am a passionate and dedicated professional who strives to improve the lives and outcomes of students and clients with diverse needs and backgrounds. I am an Adjunct Professor at QABA credentialed, Knowledge Network Hong Kong, teaching Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) courses.As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D) and NYSTC K-12 Special Educator, I have extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based interventions and curricula for diverse student populations including but not limited to: individuals with a neurodivergence, gifted and talented, and developmental delays. I have also co-authored several publications and book chapters on topics such as Culturally Relevant Pedagogy in K-12 Schools, Applied Behavior Analysis as a Technology of Teaching, and Ethics in ABA. Additionally, I have served as a leader and advocate for education, disability rights, and inclusion in various settings and roles, such as the President of the Hong Kong Association for Behavior Analysis, the Director of Inclusive Education at The Harbour School of Hong Kong, Board of Directors for The Autism Foundation of Hawai'i and as an Advisory Board Member of the Black Applied Behavior Analysts, Inc.I am passionate about advocating for and engaging in education as social justice. Addressing the needs of a child includes the local community, family, medical, and school systems. My work in disseminating evidence-based strategies for inclusive education, caregiver training, and use of data to engage in problem-solving and positive action toward change support my resolve toward contributing to positive change in the world one parent, student, teacher, and related service professional at a time.
