Nguvu Collective has built a collective of 300+ campaigners and social change leaders across India, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. They work together to campaign and win real change on women's rights.I lead our strategy, impact and evaluation.

At FYA I led the development of our strategy to support young activists and movements and change the system. I worked with colleagues to build insightful impact evaluations and lead culture & processes around learning, metrics and responsive strategy.We built a 'Youth Power' evaluation tool - a methodology to work with groups of young people to assess and build their power.

I managed a global team to support campaigners in 11 different countries - building and evaluate models of impact, learning and adapting to new innovations in campaigning, turning data into insights, improving user engagement and revenue.

I led the global Impact Evaluation and Learning work at the Change.org Foundation, which supports people building people-powered campaigns in Latin America and Asia.I worked in partnership with teams in these countries to measure and learn from their movement-building work. I built frameworks to measure our impact at the individual empowerment, campaign and societal levels. I combined platform data on thousands of campaigns with country-specific insights about campaigning in different political environments.An example of this work is my support for the team in India to build a women's rights movement. We were able to build a model of individual empowerment and movement-building, measure the success of training and community-building and use these insights to plan strategy and apply for funding.

I led the strategy support and training for our Campaigns and Communications teams across 20 countries. This included embedding with the teams to understand country-specific contexts (with time spent in India, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Australia, UK, France, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, US); training new staff and data analysis. I helped the teams implement new strategies for user growth, engagement and winning big campaigns.I initiated Learning & Innovation communities for campaigners to set up experiments and exchange new best practices.

As Coordinator of the Global Campaigns team, I was responsible for all team processes for the success of our 80-strong team across 20 different countries. This included setting and tracking Objectives and Key Results, data analysis for our global strategy, internal communications, budget tracking, hiring support, and a number of other projects.I also provided Learning & Innovation support to country teams.

I joined Change.org as Executive Assistant to the VP of Global Campaigns. In this role, I prepared research and advice on strategy as we expanded globally to 15 new countries. I also provided operational support.As we grew, I took on new responsibilities for setting and tracking our Objectives & Key Results, budget planning and internal communication.

I joined UKYCC for the first UN Climate Talks after the Copenhagen summit. I collaborated with youth climate activists from around the world in successfully campaigning for a strong decision on Climate Education, agreed at the UN Climate Talks in Cancun, Mexico in 2010.I then became more involved in training and support for the International Youth Climate Movement - producing online modules for young activists to understand and influence UN Climate policy. I facilitated campaigns training and meetings to decide on a consensus strategy.I attended 3 further UN Climate talks - in Germany and South Africa, continuing to build the capacity of young people from around the world in the interim months with online and in-person training.

Students for Kids International Projects 'SKIP' is a UK-based registered charity, which supports youth projects in communities in the Global South. It aims to develop the capacity of young people through partnerships, carrying out sustainable development projects in health and education.As National Coordinator, I led a team that supported branches in 11 UK Universities, partnered with youth community projects around the world. I developed training, standards for sustainable projects and participatory governance structures.

Developed strategies for measuring successes and monitoring projects, supported and trained local branches.

Set up a link with a health development project in Madagascar, partnering with a local youth programme to deliver health promotion training in the community. We also fundraised for the building of latrines and a new Market-place in Fianarantsoa, MadagascarVolunteer in Madagascar (2007, 2008) and Cambodia (2009)
