All aspects of the business including sales (B2B & B2C), sales management, logistics, supply chain, payment processing, marketing and promotions via Website content/interface were managed by my post. I worked daily with HTML, SQL, PHP, WYSIWYG, Photoshop, & other forms of editing. My best boast within those would be establishing selling platforms with Google AdWords, eBay, and Amazon, but I also routinely sold to corporations, jobbers, and enthusiasts. I used Pareto's Principles and Porters five forces to drive market share and penetration. Up to 10 domains were owned and operated though Beryllium, Inc. alongside my normal full-time careers before being sold in 2014. Managed competing interests and disparate stakeholders in the insurance industry pricing arena. My job was to gather data for ISO (Insurance Services Office Hazard Mitigation Division of Verisk Analytics) in order to rate and rank a community's ability to provide fire protection. That risk assessment would in turn be used by actuaries and underwriters to assist in determining property insurance premiums. The community benefited from my audit through my deep analysis of the fire department, water systems, and communications. Hundreds of facts, figures, and tests were gathered, conducted, or witnessed in each community surveyed. I further processed the data by applying proprietary principals and formulas to determine an insurance industry standard scoring system. It was great to advise on improvements while watching communities succeed in boasting gains that made their selling points higher for new and prospective businesses, residents, and taxpayers. Becoming an expert in this highly specialized field put me in a position of being called upon to speak in front of legislators, the state insurance commissioner, special interest groups, and numerous engagements with fire officials, city council, mayors, and city managers on what impact an ISO audit can have on a community and how to improve.

As a Degreed Industrial Safety graduate, I was hired for my people skills to function as a Production Manager for a jeans manufacturing plant with up to 150 non-union and highly accountable employees. I fulfilled many obligations and had 8 direct reports and 140+ indirect. I proactively monitored and controlled production, the costs of labor, materials, machine parts, and operations.Through internal formalized programs, I was cross-trained as an Industrial Engineer (not formally designated). This training provided intense focus on Ergonomics, Plant Layout, and developing Piece Rate pay scales, while maintaining all functionality and accountability of the Plant Manager role. This is where I was first introduced to Method Time Measurement (MTM) Engineering, which later grew into learning Lean and Six Sigma concepts.Generally speaking, I improved efficiency and reduced waste both by 10-15% year-on-year, which represents a massive improvement for which there was plenty of inaugural praise.
