As a technical person I love to wonder around through architectural IT landscapes. Searching for the best fit solution for IT challenges that a customer faces. That little bit of extra to accomplish customer satisfaction is what I aim for. A solution that is customer fit and exceeds the customers expactations, while respecting the projected budget, is the perfect way to achieve their goals. My many years of technical experience within enterprise environments and my strong ambitions provide me the potential to realize these goals together with the customer.Learning and gaining experience in a fast and continuous evolving world of IT, is important. The interest in studying and the ability to easily capture and process new information has provided me with new opportunities to grow and evolve from a system engineer to an Enterprise architect. With a background originating as a Wintel engineer (Windows Server, Active Directory, …) I have evolved by expanding that single domain of knowledge to a cross boundary view on the ICT landscape. Ranging from datacenter (Migrations, Consolidations, DRP, HA, ..) and hardware (servers, blades, storage, Exadata, …) projects, over virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Xen, …) to application implementations (SQL, Oracle, GIS, SAP, …)This wide view on technology has provided me new opportunities to expand myself towards the role of enterprise architect. Since 2013 I have been managing larger projects for customers ranging from datacenter migrations over optimization projects to assisting CIO's in their daily IT challenges.
